Established in May 12, 1991, it has proved its worth by bringing the adult listening public credible news, on-time, all the time. Providing news, public Information, public service, public affairs and an array of personalities, it continually surges above all stations, earning the prestige of being the KBP Station of the Year for 1999.

Using Tagalog as its medium, it brings much needed information and entertainment to its listeners all over the Philippines and neighboring Asean countries, targeting the upper four economic classes. Weekdays start with a dynamic lineup that delivers fresh news, credible and accurate reportage as gathered by its fully organized newscenter. DWIZ Commentaries on hot issues of the day becomes the source of intelligent and balanced views. Its firestarter is anchored by Rolly Gonzalo A.K.A. Lakay in Balitang Todo Lakas. Veteran broadcaster Rey Langit and Cristy Dailo anchor the "Radyo Dyaryo" followed by "Kasangga Mo Ang Langit", an incidental commentary on the day's front page items as presented by Rey Langit. A fiery mid-morning primetime program follows with veteran journalists Alvin Capino and Jonathan dela Cruz in "Karambola". Joined by broadcast big shots Teddy Boy Locsin, Boying Remulla, Julius Fortuna and Sonny Escudero, the program is today's source of smart news and commentaries. Ely Aligora and Christy Dailo goes all-out in "Hataw Na" and Rolly Lakay Gonzalo with Josephine Reyes dishes out light but informative topics in "Mare Ko, Pare Ko, OK Ka Ba?" Former Ms World, Evangeline Pascual, hosts the mini-drama on-the-air that deals with the heart and all its troubles, torments and triumphs in her "Echoes Of The Heart".

Followed by the popular public service program "Isumbong Mo Kay Tulfo". The program serves as a link between government and helpless citizens victimized by corruption, injustice and oppression. Anchored by the hard-hitting columnist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer and Bandera, Ramon Tulfo together with Cristy Dailo. "Ratsada Balita" delivers updates and fresh information on developing stories. Anchored by Ely Aligora and veteran newscaster Caloy Castro. Zip Roxas and Gretchen Malalad tandem for "Groovy Kami Noon, Cool Kayo Ngayon!" It's an afternoon of two generations offering interesting views on exciting stories.
